  • DaughterGeeding and I like to watch certain television shows together. Young Sheldon is one of them and the season premiere was last night. The star of the show has gone through a growth spurt and his deeper voice is noticeable and a distraction.
  • DaughterGeeding, BoyGeeding, and I also like to watch She-Hulk. I was wondering how true it would hold up to the comic. I’m glad to say it does so quite well, especially when it comes to breaking the fourth-wall. I had fairly low expectations, but it’s been a delight.
  • I really wish I could make a major career change right now, but obligations like child-support makes that impossible.
  • Coolie died. Of all things I think about when it comes to him, I remember him being on Bill Maher’s first panel on his very first Politically Incorrect show on ABC.
  • If I coached the Cowboys, I would occasionally hold practices at AT&T Stadium during the same time a game would be played just to get used to how the sun comes radiating through. They should turn that distraction into an advantage.

  • Marjorie Taylor Greene’s husband is divorcing her. In a statement, she praised that despite the parting of ways, he is a great and loving father. Even she can end things amicably. You have no idea how much it hurts that the mother of your own children think you are a terrible dad. At least, as far as I know, a polyamorous tantric sex guru wasn’t involved.

  • Queen Elizabeth II died of old age, death certificate shows
    • Death fascinates me, and I’ve done a lot of research on the subject. In the U.S., old age cannot be put on a death certificate as a cause of death.
      • “Old age” is not truly a cause of death in and of itself. To “die of old age” means that someone has died naturally from an ailment associated with aging. The same usually goes for “dying of natural causes.”
      • Today doctors and coroners are pressed to specify a cause of death, so the terms “old age” and “natural causes” are rarely used. They are expected to list both the immediate and underlying cause of death. For instance, a person who had a heart attack and died may have their immediate cause of death listed as “cardiac arrest” and their underlying cause of death as “heart disease.” In the past, an elderly person who died in such a manner may have had their death classified as a “natural cause” or “old age,” but this in increasingly less common.
      • In cases when the root cause isn’t clear, sometimes a generic term like “multiple organ failure” or “debility” will be listed, but “natural causes” or “old age” as an official cause of death has gone the way of the buffalo. That said, these terms live on in public discourse.

  • Wouldn’t a condom on a mic muffle the sound? I’m sure that’s the case and another mic is picking up her audio. Her reasoning doesn’t make sense to me.

  • I think the Dallas Cowboys’ dark blue uniforms aren’t as dark blue as they used to be. And that’s a good thing. They are just a shade bit lighter, almost indistinguishable.
  • You won’t hear me argue that Ezekiel Elliott is overpaid. But I think those who complain about his rushing average don’t take into account how much better of a blocker he his than Tony Pollard.
  • I miss you, Amari Cooper.
  • It’s not Dak’s fault CeeDee Lamb drops catchable passes.
  • I think ESPN has a star in the making with Robert Griffin III. He’s an excellent football analyst and expresses his thoughts well. Other than him coming across as wanting to be liked too much, he’s going to shine.
  • Nobody has that “I want and I’m trying to be liked” vibe more than Jimmy Fallon. He’s nice, but his nervous energy overly complimenting guests is too much for me.
  • The ticket has an advertisement for “Titensor Dental”. But when they say it, all I hear is “tight and sore dental”. I think the dental practice should consider changing names.
  • I’m not sure why the new sports radio station is going to be called “The Freak.” From my understanding, it will be on 97.1 and the call letters will still continue to be KEGL. So, why not called it The Eagle or Eagle Sports Radio?
