Hola Bautistas de Texas

DALLAS – The Baptist General Convention of Texas has launched a Spanish web site to provide resources for Spanish-speaking congregations.

The site, www.bgct.org/espanol, pulls together the convention’s Spanish resources for churches and makes new materials available to them. Many of the items have been written by Hispanic Texas Baptist leaders.

Rolando Rodriguez, director of BGCT Hispanic ministries, welcomed the launch of the site, saying the portal will give Hispanic churches another avenue to access resources for them. Those materials hopefully will help Hispanic Texas Baptists reach others with the gospel.

“It’s something we’ve been waiting for for a long time,” he said. “It’s finally here. Our Hispanic people deserve a web site where they can go to know everything that’s going on in terms of ministries for our churches. It’s another door that’s opened for our Hispanic churches. It’s a great day.”
