It’s scary huh? If you grew up in southeast Texas during the 60’s and 70’s this picture wouldn’t suprise you. I can remember driving home from college (north Texas) for Christmas in the early 80’s and seeing a KKK bake sale on the side of the road somewhere between Conroe and Cleveland Texas. I obviously didn’t stop but I still wonder if they were hocking burnt cross cookies.
We all know about Jasper Texas (home of the infamous dragging death). My grand parents lived in that town.
Too bad so many people have to drink the Hatorade.
I can only stare in awe and disbelief, similar to the effect of an accident on the side of the road. I think what renders me speechless is that there are: no single riders and no non KKK’ers.
