I’ve always enjoyed reading the comic strip Blondie. There is always a little game I liket to play everytime when reading the strip, finding that little dog. He’s usually doing something cute in the background and makes me smile.

The comic strip is celebrating its 75th anniversary, and a lot of other comic strip creators are paying their respects by drawing their characters into the Bumstead’s anniversary party. For the past month or so, the strip has been centering around Blondie and Dagwood making prepartions for their anniversary party. The Blondie comic strip isn’t listed on the comics link provided on this blog, so you actually have to go to www.blondie.com to read everyday’s strip. A little inconvienent, but worth is.

Sunday marked the first day of other characters appearing in the comic strip, so here are the two latest strips. I know they are probably too small to read, but if click on the pic a larger version in which you can actually read will appear.

Yesterday wifeGeeding and I help sisterGeeding move into her dorm. She is a freshman at UNT. As we entered her room I met her two roommates, that’s right, two roommates. One looked just like Jessica Alba and the other looked like Natalie Portman- then I woke up.

But we did move her in her dorm yesterday and she does have two roommates. It’s going to be a very diverse room, one Asian, African Amercian, and one Caucasian. It was kinda neat walking into the dorm and breathing in that old dorm smell which brought back a lot of memories. In her room, each student has a loft bed, desk, chair, bookshelf, and set of drawers or mini-dresser. There is also a three cushion couch in the doom. Here’s hoping sisterGeeding gets use to the community bathroom.

It’s Saturday night and I’m channel surfing and I’m stuck between watching a repeat of Tommy Lee Goes to College and Extreme Dodgeball on the Game Show Network. I had no idea dodgeball was televised, but was even more surprised to see Jeremiah Trotter of the Philadelphia Eagles participating. Figured there would be some type of clause in his contract keeping him from doing such things. As a Cowboy fan, I hope he gets dinged in the nuts.

I did a search using my state and zip code and found wayyyyyy too many in my area.

Speaking of searching using state and zip, why is on most websites when you enter a zip and perform a search, you also have to enter the state? Shouldn’t the zip code be enough?

The same thing happend to me when I was looking for a WAMU branch:
