- I had several people strongly recommend LastPass to generate and store my online passwords but I was always skeptical, especially when I read editorial reviews because all they did was praise the company, so if felt like some money was being exchanged under the tables for favorable articles. Yesterday it was announced they were hacked, and that article briefly discusses how hackers can bust the encryption without a lot of effort. To make matters worst, LastPass decided not to let their customers know about the hack first, they only did so after making a blog post.
