Bag of Randomness

  • Reggie Bush pulled off a brilliant PR move in forfeiting the Heisman Trophy he won back in 2005.  Personally, I thought he deservingly won it and shouldn’t have been stripped of it, but this gesture does wonders for his image.
  • I’ve seen two Heisman Trophies and was able to actually hold one.  I’ve seen the Heisman at TCU, and Billy Sims let me hold his trophy.  You may recall him being the guy singing “Boomer Sooner” when Bradford was announced as the winner.
  • I really want Jon Gruden to be the next Cowboys coach b/c he’s everything I think the team needs.  He’s the type of guy that can motivate and discipline and chew ass while at the same time be likable and approachable, not to mention, he’s got a great offensive mind and has a crazy work ethic.  But this is all for not since the former red-headed Troy Aikman backup out of Princeton is our head coach in waiting.

  • The press published a photo of one of Schwarzenegger’s kids saying the Pledge of Allegience in which he’s using the wrong hand and wrong side of his chest.  It’s an old photo, but I just discovered, and think it’s one that the press shouldn’t have published.
  • In other Schwarzenegger children news, his daughter who is a student at USC published a book on women and their body image issues.  I’m just curious to know if any of the kids are as fanatic about fitness as their father was.
