Watching A Great Sports History Moment

Watching Josh Hamilton in the Home Run Durby was just surreal.

It’s amazing to see a Texas Ranger have fans at Yankee Stadium along with the other All Stars chant his name.

  1. I didn’t watch the whole thing because my hometown boy Chase Utley made the early exit. Hamilton’s first round though was incredible!

  2. And by the way, is it just me or are none of your images showing up? I just get a picture that says “I *heart* BON”.

it was awesome to watch him last night, the only bad thing is he will probably be traded soon for more “prospects”. Nolan Ryan needs to be running the Rangers!! he actually wants to win unlike the rest of the them

Two memorable comments from the home run derby:
Hamilton’s BP pitcher Clay Council during an interview said “I made it to the All Star game with only one vote!”
One of the commentators after recapping Hamilton’s amazing story of redemption said “Lousy night to be an atheist.”

Morneau may have walked away with an award, but we all know who won that contest.

I’m thinking that the dumb trade moves are over with now that there is a new sheriff in town. Nolan will put JD in time-out and send him to the corner
