When I was very young… my older brother made me watch the Goonies when we were on a family trip. It TERRIFIED me. I did not know what the movie was called… but it haunted me for years and years. Fast forward 20 years, and I ask my husband to rent us a romantic movie…and what movie did he bring home? THE GOONIES! I felt silly after watching it for having been so terrified when I was younger. But it could have been worse, he could have brought home the scariest childhood movie of them all… the Gremlins.
