Back in April 2003, I originated the concept of using antique photographic images to create spooky changing portraits. I had enjoyed the morphing paintings in Disneyland’s “Haunted Mansion” attraction for years, but was curious to see how it would look if a PHOTOGRAPH turned spooky. Nobody had ever done anything quite like that with antique photos before, so it was a challenge to try something new. Fortunately, I discovered I could render them quite realistically due to my extensive background in digital photo restoration, my artistic abilities, and my expertise at lenticular design.
