
- Keith is looking for names for his back brace and walker. He’s usually pretty clever with coming up with ideas, but I think the drugs are affecting his brain. Right now he calls his back brace his corset.
- He thinks he is never going to poop again. In case you weren’t aware, a side effect of pain medication is constipation.
- I left Keith alone for about an hour and he dropped the remote. Thank goodness for the DirecTV app on his phone that allowed him to change the channel.
- I changed his bandage on his back tonight. It was the first time either one of us saw the stitches. Care to know how many? Click here to count.
- Despite being off of his baby Aspirin and supplements for 2 weeks before surgery the surgery team noticed how thin his blood was when they cut him open.
- According to Keith’s FitBit this is how many steps he’s taken since surgery.

- Keith wanted the kids out of the house this afternoon because he was afraid they were going to bump into him. So we went on a bike ride.
- Keith wrote a note for the kids and put it in their lunchbox on Friday (day of the surgery). DaughterGeeding found hers today.
- He received the Flu shot and Pneumonia shot the day he was discharged.
- I should have noted that Keith makes his Rice Krispie Treats with peanut butter and they are delicious!
- I love Big Red (the drink), but only drink it about 3 times a year from various restaurants.
- Eating cereal out of a cup is much more efficient than a bowl. When you are finished eating the cereal, you have the cup to drink the remaining milk.
- Keith thinks the Olympics will only be broadcast on Amazon or Netflix.
