- One of my favorite cartoons as a child was called Star Blazers. It was a space adventure cartoon with an old battleship traveling through space to try to save earth and was adapted for American audiences. Well, for the two of you out there that may actually know what I’m talking about, it turns out the Japanese actually made a live action version of the movie. Here’s the trailer and here’s the official website in English. As a kid, I use to draw that battleship all the time.
