Oh definitely. The inquisition, the suppression of science, the crusades, the refusal of Pope Pius XII to condemn the Holocaust and his position to remain "neutral", the pro-Christian bombings of abortion clinics and murder of abortion doctors, etc. Real peaceful. Let's be honest, religion itself isn't peaceful or hateful. Its the people who follow that religion and misinterpret the message who are hateful. As long as people continue to allow blind faith in a belief system to override their inherent common sense and decency towards others this world will continue to be filled with strife.
we shouldn't be arguing about this. that is what fuels the violence in this world. we should do as the men are doing in this image and just love on one another.
…And public servants are truly in office to serve us? Are not many waving whatever banner they will to meet their own ends? Christianity is more than just a political party, it requires giving up one's life…it's more serving others, that's for sure.
I think it is better to just watch people and decide what they believe based on their actions. Does anyone out there disagree with this?

Isn't this image an example of that decency towards others in the world?

Wow, I'm actually amazed by this.
