I’m surprised by the number of people that didn’t understand that the rules for a filibusterer at the state and federal level are different.
Now that DOMA is ruled unconstitutional and Prop 8 was dismissed by the Supreme Court, I wonder how many conservatives are genuinely concerned that this will lead to people marrying animals and objects.
I saw a lot of evangelicals tweeting “Jesus wept” yesterday and I saw a lot of folks replying “tears of joy” and that Jesus himself never said anything about it.
You’d think there be some sort of punishment or some kind of ethical violation altering the date of a state senate bill. I’m one of those that fear the radiation the comes from my mobile phone, so I try to keep it at a “safe” distance from me when I’m not using it.

I’m a fan of Jerry Seinfeld’s series of taking well known comedians and actors on car rides and a cup of coffee. His latest is with David Letterman. The car they ride in actually is quite unique. It’s a Volvo station wagon with a modified Ford supercharged racing engine that was given to Letterman by Paul Newman. Their conversation about their time on Carson was interesting. At one point they just walk into a True Value and meet a few strangers. I wonder what that must have been like to just go to the store and run into Letterman and Seinfeld.
