  • I thought this was a good point regarding the Sean Payton to Dallas rumorsIf McCarthy gets ripped by some for winning just one Super Bowl with Aaron Rodgers, why doesn’t Payton get knocked for winning just one Super Bowl with Drew Brees?

McCarthy went to the playoffs nine times with the Green Bay Packers, including four NFC Championship Games and a Super Bowl. Payton went to the playoffs nine times, including three NFC Championship Games and one Super Bowl.)

  • Brian Williams turns down CBS News’ attempt to recruit him for the ‘Evening News’ – I’m a sucker for the evening news, who sits behind the anchor desk, and what each station decides is the nation’s top news story. So, this story caught my attention. I not much of a fan of Norah O’Donnell, though I really enjoyed Scott Pelley and Bob Schieffer’s time behind the anchor desk. I’m surprised this man was able to remake his image. I doubt Laurer can do the same.
  • The first college dorm I lived in is about to be torn down, to my surprise. I thought that thing would be there forever. It was the least liked of the two male dorms on campus because of community bathrooms, but it was one of those things in which because we lived in the “lesser” of the two dorms, we developed a certain pride in living there.

  • I ran across this AI brand making tool called All you have to do is enter in your brand name, and few descriptors, and select a theme. In two clicks you have a plethora of logos to choose from. I toyed around with it to see what kind of logos it would make for this blog. Some of them have potential. I also took the liberty to see what kind of logo’s it would make for

Bill Gates also followed his father’s footsteps into the Eugenics Movement. He wants all of us and all of our children dead. Don’t take the vaccines and if if you were foolish enough to take them, do not take the boosters.

John, time to make a new tinfoil hat.

And in other news: Really like the various designs for BON and Liberally Lean. You need to charge Barry a consulting fee for spiffing up his masthead. hahaha. And in regards to Nora, I like her news presentation, but it seems to lack gravitas. I guess that is why she hasn’t got the traction that other news presenters have achieved. My all time favorite was the late Peter Jennings. That man could read a menu out load and I would pay to hear it.

John, you need help my friend. I hope you get it.

  2. Bryan B. says:

I’ll never understand why Scott Pelley was shown the door so quickly from the CBS nightly news. He was great and his stories on 60 Minutes are always a stop down for me. Watching the nightly news is probably something that died with our generation. I watched NBC every night with my parents without fail.

The logos are great, but any logo for Liberally Lean has to include the knock off Dairy queen logo and the guy mowing his lawn in a Speedo.

    • Geeding says:

One thing I really liked about Pelley was that he took the time to explain why the story was newsworthy and how did it get to a particular point. Like, he provided answers to questions I was too embarrassed to ask, like why is there tension between Israel and Iran.
