- Michael Che of ‘The Daily Show’ will take the place of Cecily Strong on SNL’s ‘Weekend Update’. I think he’ll be the first person of color to be in the role.
- It was interesting following the White House Press Secretary during 9/11 yesterday on Twitter as he live tweeted the events as it happened on that day. But there were times where he just sounded whiny complaining about the media and other people’s criticism of how that administration handed certain things that day. Dude, watch ‘Frozen’ and “Let It Go”.
- Per The Daily Mail, women prefer men not with sixpack abs but some chub because in the words of sex therapist Tracey Cox, women are insecure and they worry that they can’t live up to the expectations of a fitter man. WifeGeeding is SOOOO lucky.

Re: SNL – I'd rather Colin Jost have been the anchor replaced, because I think Update benefits from a female anchor, but per the article Cecily Strong wanted to do more sketch work, so that's good for her. I was much more excited about the section of the article talking about how the 9:00 (CST) SNL block will feature repeats of episodes from previous years, along with a brief intro for historical & cultural context. I can't wait for those!
That article from the Christian Post was painful to read. So many logical fallacies, misrepresentations, and saccharine-coated misunderstandings of history and society. For all of those wanting to live in a Christian theocracy, think of this: there are approximately 40,000 Christian denominations. What if yours isn't the one in charge??
I would think that Ted Cruz's comments were just sloppy wording in which he mistakenly identified Israel (a country) with Jews (a religion/culture). But he's too smart for that, and I agree with you – he knew exactly what he was doing. He wanted attention, and he got it. This is what happens when you mix your politics with your religion.
I agree with you on Cecily Strong. I think she should have stayed and am surprised they chose to keep Jost. Strong and Kate McKinnon are the only two current members that I find funny. Michael Che has been very funny on the Daily Show. SNL really slipped in the past year but they have always been cyclical with their talent. They lost a slew of good cast members within the last two years. I'm sure Lorne Michaels encourages cast members to leave when they begin to peak.
Maybe that's why Strong wanted out of Weekend Update; less chance of finding a future in acting if she just sits behind a desk and reads joke-news.
So, I used google map to look up your house…the satellite photo was taken after the back yard project…interesting.
I just took a look myself and the photos are before the backyard project. I can tell because there’s a tree standing that’s no longer there.
You should be quite pleased with the increase in your home's value, per Zillow, since your purchase.
