- I’ve had some good luck with customer service with Twitter. Verizon was exceptionally keeping in touch with me for several days making sure service was up to snuff and that outside line got buried. Yesterday I got an email from GoDaddy, who likes to boast about their 99% uptime, that this blog was “seamlessly migrated to a new server”. When I tried to pull it up, nada. A call to customer service was made and I was told that email was sent in error, that it was sent when the migration started, and it could take up to 24-hours until this blog was up again. I checked about two hours later and it was still down, so I tweeted about it and they were all over it, fixed in less than half an hour.
