  • We usually use Dove bar soap around GeedingManor, which is white.  For some reason WifeGeeding decided to switch to Irish Spring and DaughterGeeding was quite amazed that a bar of soap could be another color other than white.
  • I tend to think of Irish Spring as a male only product, WifeGeeding doesn’t necessarily agree.
  • With a 100% chance of rain this weekend, I made sure to throw some winterizer fertilizer on the lawn.
  • When you do a Google search for “Gary Oldman” be certain you don’t forget the “r”.
  • While paying for my groceries at Market Street the cashier informed me my reward points were about to expire.  I normally don’t pay much attention to those reward programs but with the encouragement from the cashier, I checked out to see what I was eligible for at one of their kiosks.  It turns out I had enough points to save a dollar on each gallon of gas up to 20 gallons, so I pulled the trigger on that one.
  • I’m not Catholic but I love this new Pope and his message of tolerance, acceptance, and grace.  It’s not that the church is really changing positions on things, but his message of love, being nonjudgmental, humbleness, and building relationships is getting everyone’s attention.  It’s like he’s trying to be Christ-like or something.
  • Christ-like, that’s some church-speak for ya.
  • It was reported the Pope granted that interview without the knowledge of certain folks at the Vatican, it’s like he’s doing his best to get a message out without being censored.

  • I’ve had some good luck with customer service with Twitter.  Verizon was exceptionally keeping in touch with me for several days making sure service was up to snuff and that outside line got buried.  Yesterday I got an email from GoDaddy, who likes to boast about their 99% uptime, that this blog was “seamlessly migrated to a new server”.  When I tried to pull it up, nada.  A call to customer service was made and I was told that email was sent in error, that it was sent when the migration started, and it could take up to 24-hours until this blog was up again.  I checked about two hours later and it was still down, so I tweeted about it and they were all over it, fixed in less than half an hour.
  • It was nice to see the Philadelphia Eagles fans give Andy Reid a warm reception.  Normally that fan base isn’t so nice, even to Santa.
