  • When I watch the news, BoyGeeding likes to get my attention by climbing on the chest we use as a table and stare at me with a smile.  He’s such an attention whore.
  • We are cleaning out our garage and I took a load to the dump.  For a dump, our’s sure has a lot of security.
  • The dump fascinates me for some reason.
  • One of the nursery workers at our church recently loss her full time job and she’s collecting scrap metal to get by.  While cleaning the garage I found an old garage spring, copper fittings, and all other kind of metal stuff to give her.
  • Our local Target is taking the UT loss hard, all the burnt orange stuff was 30% off.  There was no longhorn logo on the stuff, but there was quite a bit of burnt orange stuff on sale.
  • Warren Buffett’s granddaughter got married and Bono sang Stand By Me at her wedding.
  • I tend to think that BBQ sauce is only intended for use on beef and pork, not chicken.

  • I feel like my Feedly setting change on me every now and then, and it gets frustrating.
  • Speaking of changes, I think Chrome made an update which makes the URL bar long and takes my GMail features out of view.
  • From the Wall Street Journal – A Texas A&M Fan Watches Her Wedding Get Sacked by the School’s Biggest Game in Decades.  Seriously, its just stupid to schedule a wedding during football season, especially if you are an Aggie.  While you may not be a fan of the sport, I can guarantee people in the wedding party or guests are.
  • I have a friend whose wedding was scheduled on his birthday.  I always thought that was selfish on his bride’s part, and it means she’ll walk all over you for the duration of your marriage.
  • A French gambling website made a humorous JFK assassination commercial.  Folks around here tend to make jokes about it somewhat regularly, but I think it’s just a way of coping being the city that killed a president.
  • I think Woodrow Wilson is the only president to have his wife die during his presidency and to marry (or remarry) in the same presidency.
  • Suzy Kolber looked like she got a lot of work done.
  • Chris Berman doesn’t bug me like most folks.  He’s doing the same stuff he’s always been doing, so he’s just being himself and doing what made him successful.  It’s the people who don’t act like themselves trying to create shtick because they think that’s the cool thing to do that annoys me.
  • Those NFL.com commercials where the players having people on their shoulders bug me because it’s so friggin’ obvious some sort of appartus is being used to support those people.  The players look so upright and unnatural it’s distracting.
  • As much as I can’t stand RGIII, I think he was just rusty last night since he wasn’t involved in any preseason games and didn’t have any real contact.

    Dude! I was expecting to see some Breaking Bad commentary this morning. I watched the latest episode last night and I think it was the most intense thing I have ever seen. Looking forward to your thoughts.

    I thought the death if the 107-year-old man was sad as well until I read the article a few days ago and found that he was the perpetrator, and that he'd fired at officers several times before they brought him down.

    Guess he didn't take his Geritol that morning 🙁
