  • I’m just a casual golf fan, heck, probably not even that, so I’ve never had a real appreciation for The Masters, but I always liked their logo, especially how the flag in the hole is in Georgia.
  • “Fore” the longest time I thought The Masters was played in Augusta, Maine.
  • Augusta National must have made a killing on selling umbrellas, it looked like 98% of the crowd had the same green and white version.
  • I found it hard rooting for Adam Scott for two reasons – his use of the long putter, and it’s just hard to rood for a old man with his son caddying for him as was the case with runner-up Angel Cabrera.
  • Jim Nance actually used the term “moxie” during his coverage of The Masters.  Apparently he and Bob Costas is in a bit of a spat.
  • Weird, and it’s not even an article from The Onion – Man shoots himself in the head during NRA 500 at Texas
  • I think the difference between a flip-flop and a sandal is that the flip-flip has that piece that goes in-between the toes.  And even if that’s not the case, for the first time since my childhood I have footwear with that piece that goes in-between the toes.
  • I use to keep a two-dollar bill in my wallet at all times, just so I can say that I was never without money.  Somewhere along the line I stopped doing that.
  • I heard three different comedians make a joke about how people are too busy recording a moment with their camera or smartphone instead of actually witnessing the moment.
  • Pen and Teller were in town and took a picture on the grassy knoll.
  • Why isn’t Moses Fleetwood Walker credited with breaking the color barrier in professional baseball?
  • I’m quite interested in the large smartphone that some have started to call a phablet – half phone half tablet.  That Samsung Galaxy Note II has my attention, and some people have cases that double as a wallet.
  • It will be interesting to see how Microsoft is doing a decade from now.  I have a feeling they will still do well with businesses because for a lot of work, you just need to use something with a keyboard, but more and more folks are just relying on tablets and phones, a market they’ve struggled with.  Not to mention, laptops with a Windows operating system are in steep decline.
  • The Rangers have a new commercial that talks about busting the crowd wave.
  • Sad Josh Hamilton Tumbler [Thanks, Richard!]
  • Google Now is kinda neat, but a bit big brotherish.
  • My good friend Jimi had his birthday yesterday.  He reminds you that was the day Lincoln got shot and the Titanic hit the iceberg.  And in case you were curious about the spelling, he was named after Jimi Hendrix.  Oh, if you are female and what men could consider ‘smoking hot’, he’s interested.
  • A tool chest that is also a dry erase board
  • New Bishop of Limerick quotes U2 in first public address
  • A cool work of natural art for my Canadian readers
  • An online film and TV show service that allows you to earn credit by engaging in ads.
  • Hyperlapse: Creating hypnotic video from Google Street View
  • I really can’t blame the Lions for signing this YouTube kicker.
  • Knowing What the Bible ‘Really’ Means –

Why multiple translations might even be better than Scripture in its original languages.
