I wonder if Chris Christie weighs more than President Taft did at his heaviest. Speaking of Taft, he’s one of the new racing presidents that you can see at a Nationals game this year.
Have you ever thought something was one way for a very long period of your life and then later realized it’s totally false? That happened to me yesterday when someone pointed out to me that Ted Cruz was born in Canada, and thus isn’t eligible to be President of the United States (though some will argue that Kenyan made it work for him). For the longest time, I thought the same requirements for a U.S. senator was the same for president. Heck, I still have a vivid memory of one of my high school coaches telling the class that history class. But then again, it was a coach teaching history class.

I wonder if there’s a version of the FX channel in Russia, and I wonder if that channel has a show called “The Russians” or “The Soviets”.
On last night’s episode of “The Americans” they decided to give the 80’s soundtrack another try, which I think was a good thing. The episode focused on the attempted Reagan assassination, and the Alexander Haig “I’m in charge” gaffe was also a big player.
In case you want to get caught up on that show, FX will have a marathon on March 1.
At first I wasn’t all that sold on the lead actor, but his acting and the character building of his character has won me over.
Apparently there’s a giant bowler hat in South Dallas, here’s the story about it. – YouTube
The Americans is a great show. Solid cast and writing.
Cruz parents are American so he could be president
Keith, I agree with you – I don't much lik wearing hats or caps either, although I own several.
