We tried the mock mashed potatoes using cauliflower yesterday. While it’s not the real thing, it really wasn’t bad and shall make a return to the dinner table.
I ate a piece of a Dairy Queen Blizzard cake the other day and thought it was horrible. It certainly does not compare to the Baskin Robbin’s ice cream cake.
Another former House character made an appearance on HIMYM last night, this time it was former White House employee Kal Penn.
There was no Hank Williams Jr on Monday Night Football last night, and it’s all because he made a Hitler comparison.
I read that Dave Ramsey event charged $5 for parking. I hope that was disclosed somewhere in the promotional materials (even it was the Potter’s House’s doing), it sure wasn’t on that radio ad that was played ad nauseum. The people going there to listen to him are in a financial bind as it is, and don’t give me any of that crap that it’s needed to help pay for the venue, it should have been included in the price.
I have a feeling one day we’ll be reading about some sort of Dave Ramsey scandal.
The flying car looks like it is a balloon. If you look closely you can see small pivoting propellors on both sides. This is the same method they use to control the adverting ballons you see floating inside sporting arenas. They are strong enough to control a neutrally buoyant balloon, but not strong enough to lift a foam model.
We hold our graduation at Potter's House, and they sprung that $5 parking thing on us last year. Very frustrating! I do agree that, if possible, it should have been posted on the conference materials or included in the price. Because of the interactions I've had with their staff, I bet there is a decent chance that Potter's House was the problem here…not Dave Ramsey.
That is the kind of thing that just burns me up (Charging $5 for parking)!! I have had my issues lately with the Christian community in America over the last year or so and it's things like this that add fuel to my fire.
