I had to do a double-take

So here I am in Washington D.C. sitting in a meeting trying to stop crying from the Rangers loss when we have a chance to take a break from our session.  I went for a small walk and found a Wall Street Journal and decided to peruse the publication.  And there he was, on the front page of the Wall Street Journal, someone I attended junior high and part of high school with and now the first baseman of the team standing in the way of a Texas Rangers World Series championship.

Hey, I hardly talked to the guy, it’s not like he’s a close friend or anything, but it’s just kind of weird seeing someone you actually went to school with not only play in the World Series, but also on the front page of the Wall Street Journal.  Heck, the paper even did that cool black and white dotted picture of him.  For some reason, I always liked that feature of the paper.

But then it hit me, why would he be on the front page of the Wall Street Journal?

It’s all because of his red-glittered thong.

Here’s the link to the online version which includes a video.
