I have the same problem with CTM blog. Sometimes not getting the update till the next day. I have always wanted to try that very experiment myself (money tree). I also would have never guessed that people would walk right by it without even noticing. Thanks for sharing.
I think I would like to order either the Italian or Australian MRE's, although the Brits have an appetizing-sounding "Bacon omlet with beans"
As far as I know, I'm not normally guilty of the wrong sayings. Used to have a co-worker who drove me nuts by telling me something "ran the gambit", even though I'd repeatedly explained the difference between gambit and gamut.
Can't imagine getting a Star Wars tattoo. Takes all kinds, I guess.
Liked the spy gadgets. As a kid, I remember going to banquets at the Grand Prairie Ramada Inn, where they had some kind of a vending machine with an itty-bitty camera – I wanted one of those so badly. Later on, in my junior high years in Vienna, Austria (probably some real spies there), I tried several times unsuccessfully to bid, via proxy, on some Minox-B cameras at the Dorotheum (an auction house). Guess the real spies outbid me.
Not sure what clandestine documents I thought I was going to photograph. 8th grade algebra tests?
