The Dallas Black Hole Controversy

For those of you that don’t live in the area here’s the gist:

The Dallas County Commissioners were discussing the way tickets are handled at the central collections office.  A white Commissioner stated that department is like a black hole.  A black commissioner took offense to the term, the white commissioner tried to brush it off by saying pink instead of white, and then a black judge at the meeting demanded a apology.

If I am given white chocolate I will throw it down in protest because it is racist.

I’m sorry, but the stupidity of this is too much for words; the ignorance and reactionary comments made by the “offended” commissioner are just too silly for words…there was no racial “injustice” made on the part of the other commisioner – he made an intelligent, scientific comparison and it becomes a racial issue…this world of hyper-sensitive, overtly PC that we are currently forced to endure is going off the deep end…

  3. Jonathan says:

For those of us who have lived in or currently live in Dallas… this is business as usual!
