I need to raise some capitol to finish my roof before the insurance company cancels my policy.

Why banjos? I like banjos.
Why 50? 50 drawings at $20 will give me a $1000. While this may not seem like a lot of money to some, it would solve a lot of problems for me. I also believe that I have at least 50 readers that would like original art (or at least I hope I do).
Why the page? I think that people are more likly to respond if they see the goal.
What will the art look like? That depends on the subject but it won’t be a five minute sketch.
What do we do? I will draw a banjo themed picture based on the topic you give (Marlyn Monroe, Bigfoot, cheeseburger, jaywalking, etc…).

This idea sounded pretty unique so I decided to help the guy out.  I sent Eric the following pics (larger of course) and told him I wanted a drawing of me serenading my wife with both dogs watching, one of which is covering his ears.

I think I look like an old half-Asian Popeye, but I love everything else about it.
