I have a friend that lives in Texas but has had two phone interviews with a company in D.C. For the third interview, they want him to use a web-cam for a video chat. I think that’s the first I have heard of that being done.
I noticed that Obama tends to laugh at a serious question during an interview. My advice to him, don’t, you appear as if you aren’t taking the question and maybe the job seriously. And I’ll save you right wingers the trouble . . . Too bad he isn’t taking the job seriously.
I also notice that he starts a lot of his answers with “look.” I would also advice him to stop doing that.
One thing I never really liked about the State of the Union is the opposing party’s response, well, at least how quickly it is given. I can guarantee you the response was written well before anyone got the advance copy of the president’s address, so it’s as if they never really listened to what the president had to say. It’s a fault of both parties.
Interesting line from Steve Jobs in Apple’s earning report: “The new products we are planning to release this year are very strong, starting this week with a major new product that we’re really excited about.”
It's "directives" like the ones made by Cornell's Pi Phi rush chair that give the wrong impression of sororities!!! As a rush chairman of LONG AGO, I speak from experience and knowledge! "Boo" on the "lady" from Cornell!!!
