I’m afraid most people think Irritable Bowl Syndrome when they hear IBS.
Humans aren’t the only mammals addicted to bubble-wrap
Bag of Randomness
- BoyGeeding turned two -years-old yesterday and we had a little Curious George themed party, here are some pics if you are interested. SisterGeeding took this picture of me which I think makes me look old because of my freckles/sunspots and some wrinkles, but I like how the beard stand out.
- I’ve mentioned before that when we have a birthday party for the kids it can be a bit of a one-sided event having all of WifeGeeding’s family come over when the only family I have is SisterGeeding, so I’m really thankful for my male friends who kill a bit of their Saturday to support me. And it’s great to see how everyone is able to mingle with each other naturally.
- Update on the retaining wall – pics
- We took the kids to that zipline park in Grapevine yesterday. It must have been “Hot Daddy Day” yesterday because every father there looked extremely fit and all were wearing some kind of crossfit shirt. Too bad I didn’t fit in that category. While in Grapevine I noticed someone named Atticus is running for some kind of local office. Surely everyone named Atticus is named after Atticus Finch.
- I’m looking forward to seeing U2 on Jimmy Fallon’s first ‘Tonight Show’ tonight. I think it’s really cool his show will be in the same studio Carson did his when it was first broadcast in NYC.
- Conan O’Brien will be taping in Dallas at the Majestic from March 31 through April 3. You can get free tickets starting to day here. Surely Chuck Norris will make an appearance.
- I will not, and I shall not spoil anything regarding the new season of ‘House of Cards’, so without giving anything away . . .
- I had a little bit of a hard time remembering where everything left off with the first season, even with the four minute recap. So let me warn you to NOT go to the House of Cards Wikia to refresh your memory because it is updated with info that are major spoilers, and be careful what you look up on Wikipedia as well.
- I’m glad I watched the first show of the new season when my kids weren’t sleeping because something happened that made me literally yell “WHOA” and made me stand up and applauding the writing of the show.
- If you consider finding out where a character grew up, then this is a potential spoiler, but we find out Clair grew up in Highland Park near Dallas.
- I think some other channels were playing off the new season of ‘House of Cards’. For instance at noon on Sunday I saw Primary Colors and Bullworth both on air.
- I wonder if society will continue to use the phrase “I taped” in reference to recording a television show 50 years from now, and will those people wonder how did that phrase originate.
- I’m not a fan of NASCAR but it was surprising to hear the number 3 car is back on the track.
- I thought it was unfortunate that Obama had to shoot down rumors of his birth certificate, but New Zealand’s Prime Minister shot down rumors of him being a shape-shifting alien by visiting a doctor and a vet.
- I’m easily annoyed by college sports fanatics, for instance, the kind of man that would have this TCU groom’s cake.
- Feminists must love chess, no other game has a more powerful female character.
- I love this GIF of how a diver users an air bubble to knock over some rocks.
- College kids, an 800-pound snowball, and a hill – what could go wrong?
- Nike might actually make power laces in 2015 in a hat-tip to Back to the Future II.
- Gold Medalist Waits At The Finish Line For 28 Minutes To Shake Hands With The Guy Who Came In Last
- I’m so glad I woke up early on Saturday to watch the last period of USA vs Russia in hockey. I love the bigger rink in international play because I think it allows more to develop, but then again, I’m a not even a hockey novice.

Interesting Camera Mishap
The boy blinked when the picture was taken, but as you can see his reflection does not show any closed eyes. Basically, it’s because this particular digital camera scans and records images from left to right. You can get a more detailed explanation watching this video, this photo is referenced around the 1:13 mark.
