- I’ve been trying to teach DaughterGeeding simple arithmetic for a while now, but last night was the first time I introduced the number line, and it seemed to make everything click for her.
- DaughterGeeding calls Frosted Flakes by the name of “tiger cereal”.
- DaughterGeeding is able to recite our address, but ends it with, “Lewisville, Texas, in AMERICA.”

- A friend, whom I shall now call the Toilet Slayer, broke my toilet seat. Since I needed to buy a new one, I bought one that was kid friendly that has a mini-seat attached to it.
- I know some Buick and the late Pontiac cars had a windshield display in which you could see your speed and other information on the windshield so you don’t have to take your eyes off the road. I wonder if integrating a smart phone with a car so texts can be read on the windshield next to the mph would be a smart idea and if it would help prevent accidents.
- WifeGeeding informed me that when the kids were at their grandparents there was a moment in which DaughterGeeding’s only place to go number-two was out in nature.
- Dallas will be getting a two story Alamo Drafthouse movie theater very close to downtown. The second story will have a beer and food lounge as well as outdoor patios. Gosh dogit, that sounds like a good idea. I’m not sure why, but I was surprised that that article provided a link to Google Maps.
- Taylor Swift wrote an article for the Wall Street Journal. I have a feeling there’s a ghost writer hiding somewhere.
