- I’m still sick and I’m still grumpy.
- I thought the actor that plays Daredevil had the same speaking cadence as English actors Hugh Laurie and Henry Cavill when they speak in their American accent, and I may be on to something as the Daredevil actor, Charlie Cox, is also from across the pond.
- Until yesterday, I had no idea Yogi Berra played for Mets, I thought he only played for the Yankees.
- Stephen Colbert’s new Late Show with Stephen Colbert website is up and running and has some video and other bits.
- The Most Urbanized States in America – California and New Jersey are tops on the list, Texas lands at number sixteen. Vermont and Maine anchor the list.

- If there was a remake of Coming to America I’d like to see the barber shop scene recreated, except instead of talking about Muhammad Ali, they’d talk about Caitlyn Jenner, “His mamma call him Bruce, imma call him Bruce.”
- Reddit listed a local men’s haircut establishment that allows you to book an online appointment, which is swell and all, but on the page where you get to choose your stylist, it looks like a cheap escort service website – not that I would know what one of those would look like.

- I’ve got a sore throat and I’m grumpy.
- For the past two days, I’ve listened to our local sports radio hosts salivate over top Rangers prospect Joey Gallo being pulled up to the majors, and he sure didn’t disappoint last night with a single, a double, a homer, and driving in four runs. I hear his first hit should have been ruled an error. Things sure have been looking up for the Rangers over the last week or so.
- I remember when Rangers fans, not too long ago, were salivating all over Jurickson Profar. He’s out the entire season due to a shoulder injury.
- It was nice to see the Mavs cheer on Gallo. I love it when local sports franchises support one another.
- @espn – As @JoeyGallo24 makes his hyped @Rangers debut, a flashback to when he was Bryce Harper’s 8-yr-old teammate in Vegas.
- I don’t know much about this topic, but I’d like to know what constitutes a “proper” one – The homeowners association has now filed a lawsuit against the owner of the residence, saying he is operating an improper swingers club. – Link
- WifeGeeding and I only have one episode left to finish the first season of ‘Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt’ on Netflix. If you enjoy witty humor and miss ’30 Rock’, this should scratch your itch, but give it at least three episodes.
- I think Dean Norris, aka Hank Schrader from ‘Breaking Bad’, would have made the perfect Wilson Fisk in Netflix’s ‘Daredevil’. I don’t care too much for the actor playing the character now.
- I can count on one hand the number of text messages I’ve received from one particular sister-in-law, but yesterday she surprised me with a picture of Tom Landry’s grave. She knows I’m a fan and I guess she just happened to find it while visiting another grave yesterday.
- This is a bit freaky. It’s a video of a helicopter going under the Golden Gate Bridge using new GoPro software that allows gives you a virtual reality experience, but to me it’s more like a video in which you have 360 degree viewing options.
- Yes, it is still possible to send a personal, hand-delivered telegram.

- Actors’ Final Film Appearances – I only one that really stood out to me was that of Gregory Peck playing the villain’s lawyer in Cape Fear.
