• Since LiberallyLean is on hiatus, I’ll provide my version of his Random Thoughts Girl until his return.
• Also, in honor of LiberallyLean, I’ll make a Wise County Messenger reference.  They have a story about a regular traffic stop that turned into a sizable drug bust – 10 pounds of marijuana concealed in a suitcase, edible marijuana, hashish and hydrocodone.  A young couple in their twenties were traveling back from Denver and she stated the value of the marijuana was $25,000.

• During a commercial break on The TICKET I was scanning the radio presets and heard Kidd Kraddick in the Morning host Kellie Rasberry state that any gift over a hundred dollars is more of a Christmas present than a birthday present.  I thought that was weird.
• If any of you are looking for some extreme action this weekend, you can join my mother-in-law who’s in town for a knitting convention that’s in Irving.  There are several packages to choose from for this three-day event, and personally, I think The Works package is a value at $695.
• I didn’t think it was all that bad – First photo of Jason Pierre-Paul’s hand is horrifying
• A man posted a picture of this odd toilet to Imgur that he found in Brazil.  Basically, the front of the bowl is missing.  At first, I thought this might be for one of two purposes.  As a father to a three-year-old boy, sometimes toilets are too high, and this would help them out.  And then I thought it might be made that way to help men avoid that dreaded experience of our manhood touching the porcelen when we sit down (few things make you feel grosser, and I’m sure this bit of news is a surprise for the ladies).  But someone on Reddit provided this picture (safe for work) that shows how it would benefit those in a wheelchair, and I think that makes the most sense.

• The pastor of First Baptist Dallas made it to the Trump rally?  I thought he’d only show up at Cruz events, which seems more towards his liking.
• He starts to “quote scripture” around the 2:00 mark.

• Man, weird local news yesterday with a Whataburger employee refusing to serve cops and the arrest of a ninth grader who was arrested for making a digital clock. Oh, and then a 73-year-old-man was shot in a road rage incident.
• Since we’re on the topic of high school made bombs, I found this old article on Reddit:
  • Steve Wozniak spent the night in jail for building a fake bomb in high school
  • One highlight of the article: “The principal had been summoned when the device was found, bravely ran onto the football field clutching it to his chest, and pulled the wires off.”
  • The mental image of that principal reminded me of this classic Batman scene.  I love the slapstick nature of it, running into the nuns, a mother pushing a baby carriage, a marching band, etc.
• A decent question I heard about the mistaken clock, if there was a concern of a bomb on campus, shouldn’t there have been a lockdown at the school?
• The true winner of last night’s debate was Ronald Reagan.
• Buzzfeed has an article about a boy with a prosthetic eye that no longer wants to wear it because of a rapper that also has a prosthetic eye but chooses not to wear it as a way of being proud of their body. WifeGeeding often tells me it’s very uncomfortable not to wear her prosthetic eye and prefers to always have it in. So in case you were wondering, she wears it as she sleeps.
• CBS11 sports started off by stating it was dollar night at the Rangers game, “limit five per person.”
• Carol Burnett was on Colbert last night to promote a DVD of her old show.  I’d love to see her do an SNL.  She’s 82 in case you’re wondering, and she’s a Texan as she was born in San Antonio.
• Kevin Spacey was also on Colbert and talked about his mentor, Jack Lemmon.  He stated Lemmon was born in an elevator.  Since I couldn’t tell if he was joking, I looked it up, and he actually was born in an elevator.  Tidbit: Lemmon’s headstone simply reads “Jack Lemon in“.
• Most of the time I end my emails with “Keither”.  One of my first managers told me to stop doing that because that’s how her ex-husband ended his emails and she didnt’ want to compare me to such a scoundrel.

• I’d like to extend my sincere condolences to Barry Green and his family over the loss of his mother.  It doesn’t matter what age you lose your mother, you’ll always be her little boy.  Thankfully he turned his comments off regarding the news of his mother.  His readers can be vile, even if they are doing some sort of bit.  I hope he takes some time away from his blog for a bit.  In the meantime for our like readers, the pic above is my contribution for a Random Thoughts Girl.
