Last night during Lost, some major thunderstorms were in the area. I just wanted to say how pleasantly surprised I was that the local ABC affiliate WFAA did not interrupt Lost for any weather updates. Instead, they decided to lose some money and provide those updates during the commercial breaks. Way to go WFAA, making your viewers very very very happy!
FedEx and Woot
Last Thursday I ordered a product from Woot. If you are unfamiliar with Woot, it is a website that only sells one product a day and some people are obsessed over it. Woot is also located in Carrollton, TX – litererally a five minute drive from my house in Lewisville.
I thought since I haven’t received my package as of yesterday, I would use the FedEx tracking system. It told me my package was sent from Carrollton and is now in the state of Pennsylvania. When I called and talked to a FedEx representative, they told me that is normal occurrence – that even though I may be located close to the drop off point, the package must first go to a distribution center to be sorted and then routed to the desired destination. Uhhhhh, yeah, that makes sense.
Made me laugh
