India to become ‘open defecation free’ by 2012

New Delhi, March 26 (IANS) Come 2012 and it will be rare to see people defecating in the open in India. So claims Rural Development Minister Raghuvansh Prasad Singh, who went on to say that the country was set to achieve ‘open-defecation free’ status under the government’s Total Sanitation Programme (TSC).  Link

Amazon.com jumps gun on NCAA winner

APR. 4 11:59 A.M. ET College basketball fans may have been surprised to turn on their computers Monday morning and find an e-mail from Amazon.com Inc. proclaiming, “UCLA Wins.”  The online retailer mistakenly sent the e-mail to customers ahead of the NCAA championship game Monday night between the Florida Gators and the UCLA Bruins.
