Lamb Cake
Two of my coworkers have a family tradition. When a child has his or her first birthday, the cake he or she receives is in the shape of a lamb, called a ‘lamby cake.’ Neither of these coworkers can explain to me the reason behind the lamb cake, just that it’s been passed down from one generation to the next. Any thoughts on it’s meaning or significance?
