2006’s Top Ten White & Black Squirrels’ Hot Spots

Here are two new fun lists for 2006. They represent my top ten choices (each) of white and black squirrels’ hot spots tied to their sightings and appearances.

The University of North Texas albino squirrel was mentioned, and if you are interested, you can read about it’s memorial service put on by some students here.

Christmas Cards 5, 6, 7, 8, 9

Today in the mail was my fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, and ninth Christmas card since starting my little BagOfNothing experiment.  Talk about a full mail bag.

Card #5 comes from ‘Cowboys Homer’ who lives in Weatherford, TX, which is only about a ten minute drive from my hometown of Mineral Wells, TX.  Back in the day, we would be rivals.  Well, I guess we still kinda are since we are competing in fantasy football.

Card #6 is from local readers Andy and Katie of Keller, Texas.  I think I work less than ten minutes from them in Westlake, TX.

Card #7 is my second out of state card.  It’s from long-time reader Fay of Michigan.  I bet it’s much colder up there than it is down here.

Card #8 is another out of state card from Andy and Steve of Minnesota.  It looks like they work for the company known for a little blue box.  Too bad I didn’t know them when I got WifeGeeding a pair of pearl earrings from that store a couple of Christmas’s ago.

Card #9 is not only my second hand made card, but my first out of country card!  It comes from Heather of Canada, who mentions that if WifeGeeding and I are ever in Toronto, dinner is on her.

Going into this little experiement I was expecting about 10 cards.  I’m just one away.

Quality Family Time

In marriage, sometimes you have to sacrifice to make your spouse happy.  One area in which sacrifice occurs is what’s on television.

Currently WifeGeeding is addicted to this show, and as a loving husband, I’ll bite the bullet and watch every single moment of this show with her.  As much as it pains me to do so, I’ll do it in the name of love.  She sooooo owes me.

Anyone interested in a 2003 Nissan Altima?

Since MomGeeding’s mini-van is paid off, I’m going to start driving that to work.  That’s right, I’m going to be rollin’ in a 1994 Chevy Lumina baby!

Time for me to sell the car that I’m still making payments on.
