Zyzzyx Road lasted only six days in release, from February 25, 2006 through March 2, 2006. The film’s widest release was in one theater, in Dallas, Texas, and only shown there to meet contractual obligations.
One of the most widely recognized aspects of Zyzzyx Road is its notably low box office draw, placing it among the worst box office bombs. The film is possibly the lowest grossing film of all time, earning just $30 at the box office. Its opening weekend netted twenty dollars, giving it two thirds of its total box office gross.
