Atlanta Time Machine

You’ll find a plethora of then-and-now photos of Atlanta through the decades, scores of old postcards, and miscellaneous ephemeral stuff like old advertising for nightclubs, bars, and restaurants. In short, the site features a virtually endless supply of “historical” stuff you probably won’t find elsewhere.

More interestingly, I wasn’t aware that Atlanta had it’s own White House.

I just wanted to make sure that everyone knew that Atlanta has a 3/4 sized replica of the White House and it’s located at 3687 Briarcliff Road NE.  The Atlanta White House was built by Atlanta home builder Fred Milani, an American citizen born in Iran.

Doctor Visit Thoughts

  • This was on the side of the building that I entered today.

Here’s the verse: And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
  • The building had it’s own seperate parking lot from the hospital, and no matter what, it costs you a dollar to park there.  If you live in the burbs around Dallas, you aren’t use to paying for parking.
  • I can’t remember the last time someone took my temperature by sticking something in my mouth.  All they did this time was use a tool and scanned my forehead.  It reminded me out of something on Star Trek.
  • I hope the prostate exam isn’t the highlight of my day.
