Parent Blogger Upset At Target Ad

Amy Jussel, a mother that runs a blog named Shaping Youth, was offended by this ad found in Times Square.

She emailed Target asking for a comment she could post on her blog, but found that Target “Target does not participate with non-traditional media outlets.”

She’s not happy.

Four Animals to Be Given Away at the End of the Game

OKLAHOMA CITY–(BUSINESS WIRE)–American Farmers and Ranchers Mutual Insurance announces their sponsorship of FFA Night at the Blazers Hockey game Friday night, January 18th at the Ford Center in downtown Oklahoma City. The event will enable the statewide youth organization, FFA, to raise funds for the Oklahoma FFA Foundation, which will keep five dollars of every $10 ticket sold by members. In addition, all FFA members attending the game will have an opportunity to win one of four animals to be given away at the end of the evening’s game: an Express Ranch heifer, valued at $2,500, a lamb, a goat and a pig.

Two Part Harry Potter Movie

Harry Potter fans are set to get a double treat in the film of the final story – and movie makers are set to double their money. Crew working on the sixth Potter film, Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince, have been told J.K. Rowling’s seventh novel, Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows, will be released in two halves.
