Southern Baptist professor questions if a woman can be VP

Gov. Palin’s candidacy has sparked debate among some conservative Christians. While many applaud her pro-life convictions and traditional conservative policy positions, some have raised concerns about a woman occupying high office. Some complementarians — those who affirm traditional gender roles in the home and the church — are concerned that electing a woman to the vice presidency (or presidency) undermines the biblical understanding of male spiritual headship. The question is whether or not female governmental leadership is consistent with Scripture.

Must Be The Arizona Water

A while back I made a post about Brenda Warner.  For those of you not in the know, she is the wife of Arizona Cardinals QB Kurt Warner.  For the longest time, she was picked on for looking more like his mother than his wife because of her short gray spiky hair.  As you can see, she had a makeover.

Recently, I saw an old picture of Cindy McCain, another Arizonian, who  did the same thing.  This picture is from March 2000 (source AP Photo by Matt York) when John McCain suspended his bid for the GOP Nomination.

And, of course, these are more current picture of Cindy McCain (source).

Something is in the Arizona water.
