Six years ago I made my first post, and today is my 16,047th post. Who knows how many more I have in me.
Why do I blog? To be honest, I’m not sure anymore. I like to connect with people. I like to expose people to things they may normally not be exposed to, or try to bring a different perspective to them. I like share things I find interesting. I like to make people think. And I guess I like knowing that I can be a little escape from everyone’s workday for a few minutes, and knowing that some of things I share are talked about at the dinner table or with loved ones.
Today is also my dearly departed mother’s birthday, she would have turned 63. As I do every year, I choose to make only one post, and ask all of you to honor her by finding a magazine or book to read. Mom was a voraciously proud reader, and I would appreciate it if you would use the time you normally would use checking out this blog and spend it reading as a favor to me.
Thanks for taking time out of your day to spend it with me.
Grace,
Geeding
