Christian School Teacher Accused Of Masturbating In Class

SCHAUMBURG, Ill. (CBS) – A teacher at a suburban Christian school has been charged with a felony, after he was fired for allegedly masturbating behind a podium while teaching class.

As CBS 2′s Dana Kozlov reports, Schaumburg police said he might have been doing it for the past 10 years or more.

Paul LaDuke, 75, has been charged with sexual exploitation of a child. LaDuke has been a math teacher at the school for 26 years.

  • I’ve been out of commission with a bacterial infection, so sorry about the lack of posts.
  • It looks like there’s not going to be any NBA games this season, so I guess the Mavs continue on as NBA champs.
  • One very sad part about the NBA lockout that I don’t think a lot of folks will think about, is the effect it will have on all the people that depend on the money those games generate.  From the concession workers, to the parking attendants, to the restaurants near the arenas and the people that supply them, it’s gonna take a hit on a lot of folks that aren’t millionaires.
  • Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski now has more wins than any other college basketball coach.  A lot of folks think he isn’t that great because he doesn’t produce NBA talent, but I think those folks forget that’s not his job, his job is to get his players to play as a team and win college basketball games.
  • A blogging friend of mine was nice enough to send me a Mike Krzyzewski book on leadership.  Even though I haven’t finished it, there are many parts of the book that pop into my brain at certain times in life.

  • We had our foundation repaired last year, but due to the hot and dry summer, the cracks in our walls reappeared.  Yesterday the foundation company sent a crew to do some adjustments.  Thankfully it was free as part of the life-time-transferable-warranty.  But as they fixed one area, new cracks appeared.
  • I finally had time to watch the U2 documentary about the making of Achtung Baby, “From the Sky Down”.  For a U2 fan’s perspective, it was beautifully crafted showing their rise, their mistakes, a wandering of sorts through the wilderness, and a rebirth that started in Berlin, a city that was rising from the ashes after the fall of the Berlin Wall.
  • My favorite part of the documentary was how the song “One” was developed.  I can’t tell you the number of times and the amount of comfort I found in that song from all the times I left my future wife’s apartment and made the long trek home frustrated, confused, and in love.
  • Sometimes when I feel like I just really need to get away from it all, I pop in a U2 concert DVD, usually the at Slane Castle.
