“Pulseless” Artificial Heart Short Film Preview

Yup, this preview of a short film is seven minutes long, which makes me think this is a short film itself, but the filming and editing as well as the subject matter makes it worth watching.

I’m not sure if this is the device that former Vice President Lord Vader Dick Cheney used, but I’m pretty certain it is.  I mean, how many different continuous flow hearts are out there?

The idea for this device may have occurred when one of these docs was in medical school, but you can also argue it started when he took a trip down to Home Depot and started work on it in his garage.
