- I’m still not over this sinus infection that’s gotten the better of me since the first week of November, despite three rounds of different antibiotics. Heck, I even went in for an accupuncture treatment ealier this week. This morning I have an appointment with an ear-nose-throat doctor at 8:00 am. This will be my first drive in morning traffic since March.

- About two years ago I started to watch “Breaking Bad” and only got a little through the first season because it didn’t live up to the hype, mainly because my close friends set a pretty high expectation for it. This week I started where I left off and I’m now I’m a little bit through season three. There’s some reality you have to suspend (I don’t see Jessie surviving that scene right before the ATM incident), and even though I don’t find it as captivating as most of my friends, I’m highly entertained. I think the one scene that really got me was when Skylar told Walt what she did with Tim, there was something about just the way she said it.
- WifeGeeding and I finally got around to watching the season ending episode of “Homeland.” That show did the impossible, it made a one hour episode feel like three hours. I have no idea if I’m in it for a third season, but I did pick up on the late VP’s wife calling Brody by his fist name and it made me think of one of my reader’s theory, that just might hold true.

- As a kid I thought “Happy Holidays” was a faster way of saying “Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.” Actually, I still do.
