Breaking Bad – Good Riddance

When Seinfeld capped it’s run, way back in 1998, there was a clip show highlighting the best moments of the series. One of the most memorable scenes from that clip show was a behind the scenes retrospective cut to Green Day’s “Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)”

We thought it would be fun to make a Breaking Bad tribute video in the style of that clip from the Seinfeld finale.

  • While at cash register at Chipotle yesterday I realized I forgot my wallet.  I asked if she could just keep my feed aside and I’ll run home to retrieve my wallet, but she told me not to worry about it and just go ahead and enjoy my lunch and then for me to get my wallet after I’m finished eating/  Despite having no idea who I was or that I could have simply taken advantage of the free meal and run, she granted me undeserved mercy.  I’d say that was grace in practice, and yet I have no idea if she was a Christian or not.
  • One of the biggest mistakes I made in school as well as when I started my professional career . . . No need to write that down, I’ll remember it.
  • When I hear the story about the Washington Navy Yard shooter and his reference to low-frequency electromagnetic waves, I automatically think about Bryan Cranston’s guest appearance on ‘The X-Files’ that dealt with ELP.  It’s kind of crazy how Vince Gilligan wrote the episode and how he and Cranston have teamed up.
  • In the next decade we’ll have a new lake in the area.
  • I know we don’t really pay attention to the America’s Cup, but that was one heck of a comeback for the Americans.  I think they were down 1-8 and one more loss and they would have been eliminated, so they had to win eight races in a row to take home the trophy.
  • WifeGeeding could have simply told me that she’s going to watch a friend’s child for a day, but she prefers to tell me that A) Such-and-such called B) She has this dilemma C) So she was wondering D) So I thought it over E) She’ll be dropping the child off at such-and-such time  F) I’ll need to install the child’s car seat so we can go to the park G) I think this is what we’ll do for lunch H) They’ll probably be ready for a nap by I) And then we can do these activities J) And She’ll come by at such-and-such time to pick her child up.
  • This article states that the 2014 Equus Bass 770 is the sexiest car to come out of Detroit in 40 years, and it’s a combination of the classic Mustang, Challenger, and Charger.  To me it’s more muscle than sexy.
  • I would have thought after Canadian Cruz’s speech he would have driven off in a Ford.  Does it matter if a politician drives a foreign or domestic car?  The truthful answer is no, but the emotional answer is that it depends if he or she is in your preferred political party.  Not to mention, it’s hard to define what a domestic car is today especially with so many foreign cars that are build in the U.S.
  • Kids nowadays will never endure the struggle of talking on a corded phone and trying to grab something just a bit further than the stretched length of the cord.
  • There’s not many constants in this world, but Miles Austin hurting his hamstring is one of them.
  • I think this will be our last week of NFL football before we are invaded with pink on uniforms.  I wish the NFL would just dedicate a week to the cause and not an entire month.
  • An HBO mini-series needed to find a replacement for James Gandolfini, so they got Robert Deniro.

  • Artists pay tribute to WWII fallen in Normandy – This was actually quite moving, all the outline of bodies in the sand and how the tide swept them away.  I’d at least give the first four photos in that slideshow a shot.

  • The five loudest stadiums in college football – Aggies made the top three, surprisingly Shelton Stadium wasn’t included.
