- When MomGeeding died I inherited a very modest mutual fund that I haven’t touched because of various emotional reasons. Recently I made the decision to pay for DaughterGeeding’s pre-school tuition using the funds from that mutual fund as a symbolic way of including my mother in her grandchild’s life.

- Cholesterol 202 *(normalish – should be under 200)
- Triglycerides 198 *(borderline high – should be under 150)
- LDL 120 *(near or above optimal – optimal is under 100)

- A guy eating at our local Jason’s Deli yesterday looked like Uncle Jack in BrBa. I wonder how he would react if someone came up to him and said, “You remind me of a Nazi I know.”
