I thought I was going to lose a fence

My neighbors from Mexico decided to back out the RV.  I thought for sure I was going to lose my fence, you should see the ice in front of the fence as that area is shaded, but they somehow managed to back that thing out damage free.  I probably should have videoed the event because that thing did a lot of freakish sliding.

  • Nine months from now be prepared for local stories of a baby boom because of the December 2013 ice storm.
  • My house slippers can generate enough static electricity in the winter to provide all of DFW with air conditioning in the summer.
  • I knew the Cowboys were going to lose the moment I saw the majority of our offensive line wear long sleeves.
  • The TICKET was actually broadcasting on television yesterday.  I used my Slingbox to watch it during certain segments and found it interesting how they interact and seeing a face of the producers and board ops I’m not all that familiar with.
  • As long as you are earnest in journey, don’t ever let anyone tell you that doubting or questioning your faith is a bad thing.  It’s important to question and doubt because it leads you down a path of assurance which then will turn your faith and your acts into something genuine instead of living an artificial life full of artificial acts.
  • I was on a good workout program for about four straight months, got sick, and never started back up again.  Thankfully I’ve maintained my weight, but being healthy isn’t just about how much you weigh.
  • It annoys me to no end when a college is mentioned and someone from said college has to say their little college saying.
  • I wonder when Will Ferrell will start promoting the next Anchorman movie. That’s sarcasm in case you were wondering.  Actually, his Dodge endorsement really boosted sales.
  • I mentioned the harsh comments on Senator Ted Cruz’s Facebook post about Nelson Mandela a few days ago.  The senator is actually at the funeral.
  • Of the big three news anchors, only Brian Williams will be at Mandela’s funeral.
  • Mittens certainly aren’t masculine, but I think they do a better job of keeping your hands warm because your fingers are kept together for warmth instead of spread apart.
  • Southern Miss coach Todd Monken bought every departing senior a suit for future job interviews.
  • Some of the best pizza I’ve had was from the Flying Tomato in Denton.  After it burned down and then reopened in Sanger I planned on making a trip for some of that delicious pan pizza, but yesterday I learned it’s closed for good over a year ago.
