Nine months from now be prepared for local stories of a baby boom because of the December 2013 ice storm.
My house slippers can generate enough static electricity in the winter to provide all of DFW with air conditioning in the summer.
I knew the Cowboys were going to lose the moment I saw the majority of our offensive line wear long sleeves.
The TICKET was actually broadcasting on television yesterday. I used my Slingbox to watch it during certain segments and found it interesting how they interact and seeing a face of the producers and board ops I’m not all that familiar with.
As long as you are earnest in journey, don’t ever let anyone tell you that doubting or questioning your faith is a bad thing. It’s important to question and doubt because it leads you down a path of assurance which then will turn your faith and your acts into something genuine instead of living an artificial life full of artificial acts.
I was on a good workout program for about four straight months, got sick, and never started back up again. Thankfully I’ve maintained my weight, but being healthy isn’t just about how much you weigh.

Some of the best pizza I’ve had was from the Flying Tomato in Denton. After it burned down and then reopened in Sanger I planned on making a trip for some of that delicious pan pizza, but yesterday I learned it’s closed for good over a year ago.
Re the college thing — I never really see that much unless it's in the context of a discussion of a game or whatever, when you get the hook 'ems, sic 'ems, war eagle, etc. The big exception is the ridiculous Aggies that insist on whooping any time the school is mentioned. There's a reason why the only people who like tamu are the aggies themselves.
I miss the tomato too. It was always my favorite pizza place. I miss the Fry street area in general – it will always hold a special place in my heart. The "development" of the area ruined a great thing.
