I’m looking forward to watching Scott Pelley anchor the CBS Evening News, but I think his skills are stronger as a reporter than an anchor. Texas Tech alums should be proud, and it’s nice to see another former DFW reporter make it big.
It’s Navy SEALs, not Navy Seals. Get it right, people.
I think I mentioned it before, but I’ve felt a bit uncomfortable seeing all the celebrating after the death of bin Laden, it kind of reminded me of seeing others praise the attacks on 9/11. But while reading some foreign news to check out other perspectives, I thought this comment by a Londoner summed things up nicely. “It makes me sick that some people are berating people in the US for celebrating. It’s a national show of relief and essentially adds some closure to many of the grieved from 9/11.”

U2 was seen in Berlin shooting a new video. New album around the corner? They also won the Outstanding Music Composition/Direction/Lyrics Sports Emmy for their musical contribution to the 2010 FIFA World Cup. Here’s one of the commercials. And another.
ABC has that show called “What Would You Do?” that I can’t stand, because to me, it’s a weird sort of way to judge complete strangers and their actions. They recently set up shop in Dallas (University Park, actually) and the episode will air on May 20.
I have a feeling this book is going to start selling a lot of copies again. Here’s an excerpt.
I’m surprised we haven’t seen anyone from the cast of LOST do anything really special since the end of the show.
I hear Dallas is going to be getting a Trader Joe’s. I have no idea what kind of store that is.
Is there any way you might help me find the site for debunking urban legends?
It would come of great help.
Hey Geeding, do you know where I can get a link to the 'Top 10 sites to debunk urban legends'?
