One of my favorite actors. Millennials are probably not familiar with the range and depth of his film work. Truly legendary. When you have a lazy weekend, download and watch Black Sunday, a 1977 film. A terrorist group uses a Goodyear blimp with an exploding gondola to attempt an attack during a Super Bowl in Miami. Shaw is exceptional in the movie.

Oh, yes, I remember the film quite well. I remember being intrigued that the filmmakers had the unprecedented cooperation of the NFL for such a dark film, a terrorist attack.

Shaw also turned in one of the absolute best “henchman” roles in any Bond film when he played Red Grant in the second Bond film, From Russia With Love. Incredibly cold, calculated, chilling portrayal.
