- Cowboys WR coach Sanjay Lal caught my attention when he had his receivers carrying cement blogs to strengthen their hands. He’s an interesting subject. I can’t recall anyone of Indian descent in the NFL, he was born in England and also lived in Iran, Kuwait and Mexico City, and attended junior high in Plano. He spent 11 years coaching in the high school and college ranks before the Raiders gave him his first NFL opportunity in 2007.

Typos on any blog never bother me because, you know, it’s just entertainment. I normally wouldn’t point one out, but “carrying cement blogs to strengthen their hands” made me laugh a little. I picture players carrying Bag of Nothing in one hand and Liberally Lean in the other.
College football baffles me as well, especially the Urban Meyer debacle. Given what took down his predecessor, it should seem like a given that Meyer would get a similar treatment. But Jim Tressel’s team was on the downhill side of a national championship and Urban’s Buckeyes are ranked #5 and in good position to make the CFP. As Carmine used to say on The Sopranos, “Millions of dollars are at stake.”
I’m glad you pointed out my typo because your commentary gave me a huge laugh. However, here is a link to a cement blog: https://www.understanding-cement.com/cement-blog.html
