Bag of Randomness for Wednesday, June 21, 2017

  • That photo was taken today but back in 2003. I have nothing to blog about, so here are some other pics from that day.
  • It’s funny looking through these pictures and realizing how many friends we no longer keep in contact with.
  • This is us arriving at the reception, and I made sure the first song we were introduced to as a married couple was a U2 song, specifically “Beautiful Day”.
  • Because of my Asian heritage, I specifically requested rice to be thrown.
  • Our flight was delayed, so we were just happy to finally be on a flight.
  • Per tradition, I carried WifeGeeding over the threshold. This is also photographic evidence of when my chronic back problems began.
  • Bonus: It appears I jumped the gun on my vows, but the pastor actually forgot to pause.

Hell she looks the exact same today as she did then! No offense sir, but you don't. Then again few of us do look like we did when we got married (but we all think we do!)

  2. Ben W. says:

Happy anniversary! I didn't know you got married the same year that I did.

I've had the same thought when I look back at our wedding photos–there are so many people that I haven't even spoken to in years. Not due to any kind of "falling out" or anything, just because we don't live anywhere near there, don't attend that church, etc. Of course, it's also sad to note those who have passed away, too. Time never stops moving forward.

  3. David Bryant says:

Appears you honeymooned at Disney World. Where did you stay?

  4. Mike Honcho says:

Great Pics! My wife and I also Honeymooned at Walt Disney, back in the mid-nineties.

  5. Bryan says:

Happy anniversary, Geedings! My wife and I honeymooned at Disney as well.

  6. Ben W. says:

FWIW, we (shockingly) honeymooned at WDW also, and would have been there about two months before y'all were. You clearly have a Disney-loving readership.

  7. Mountaineer says:

Happy Anniversary! And the photographic proof of the onset of your back problems? I would sleep with one eye open tonight. And get a food taster for your meal. Wives have long memories.
