  • I hope President Trump live tweets during the Comey hearing. CSPAN could make the hearing look like an episode of “Pop-up Video” every time he tweets, but each pop-up cloud would have to have the presidential seal.
  • The first two-thirds of last night’s ‘Fargo’ was exceptional television. I’m surprised the show is so consistently good, but I guess the secret each season is to use a new cast and storyline.
  • Each year the city of Lewisville holds their Fourth of July fireworks show near Vista Ridge Mall, and we usually get a good view from either our front or back yard. They are considering moving it further north near city hall and will be conducting a fireworks test show on Monday, June 12, at 9:15 PM which will last about 30-45 minutes. Residents are encouraged to watch the test shoot and provide feedback.
  • Father Builds Cardboard Star Wars Snowspeeder for His Daughter’s Drive-In Movie at School – I love what the father did, but I never heard of a drive-in movie concept at an elementary school, and that’s pretty cool. It would be neat for each kid to make their own “vehicle”, throw up a projector, and make them watch a movie in it. Heck, it would be a cool fundraising opportunity.

-The only was I see Trumps tweets is when the news channels post them on TV. I don't follow him but If he would stay off that dang twitter the media could tell us how he really is.
-I never get around to actually reading all the items I've bookmarked.
-And yes….the dreaded bun-slidage is the worst. If cheese is involved one must be even more careful of the placement of items because the tomato will slide around if it is placed on top of the cheese. Salt and pepper at this stage seems to give the tomato more grippage and staying power.

I haven't watched this week's episode of Fargo yet, but last week's episode was one of the most beautifully shot episodes of television I have ever seen. If the cinematographer isn't at least nominated for an Emmy, it's a shame. That was a gorgeous episode–but then again, the entire series is filled with remarkable camera work. Throw in the top-notch acting every season, with a completely different cast, and it's must-see TV for me.

That dad has more skill with cardboard than Richard Dreyfuss has with mashed potatoes. (How's that for an old reference??)
